Bellow was probably always on my list but I never got around to reading his works unless perhaps a short story in Harpers Magazine or such other periodical. The author, an MD who is knowledgeable about our radical Islamic threat and the government agencies working to combat it, carries us along an exciting journey, sometimes gruesome, of a surgeon who is harnessing his brains and determination to strike back at the jihadists.
