I find myself looking at maps of Europe trying to draw in the countries described. I did not see anywhere that it says these recipes are sanctioned by the author of Wheat Belly, William Davis, MD, and I wonder if he would approve of many of them. tactics and recreate world terrains used in the past to assist in wins/defeats but this book has some really good insight into battles and battlefields. The comparable "John Galt" personage is aging; through practical "tests" and adventures, he tries to determine if his grandson (Trey) is capable and willing to continue running the non-existent town. This is not a criticism as it makes the writings of other French historians such as Jean Jaurès, Georges Lefebvre, Albert Soboul and Albert Mathiez more accessible to readers in the Anglophone world; however, the sources which are more often quoted obviously leave the reader with the impression that the author has a bias (181; 35; 310; 185).
